President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has visited the Defense Ministry’s Cultural Enlightenment Center in Yashnabad district.

The building was erected in 1980. Today it houses the Music Ensemble of the Armed Forces, the Central Military Orchestra, the Turon State Military Theater, a sewing enterprise and children’s hobby clubs. But the capacities of the building are still far from being used in full.

The President noted the need for reconstruction of the building, urged to make a rational use of it, set up an entertainment center here on the basis of public-private partnership. Conditions will be created for concerts and festive events. It is planned to improve the adjacent territory, to open points of trade and services.
