President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Andijan region to get acquainted with the ongoing transformations in the region and people’s life.

The President is expected to visit textile, agro-industrial and agricultural enterprises, get acquainted with construction and landscaping activities.

One of the most important events of the visit is laying the first stone of the city of New Andijan.
