President of Uzbekistan has held a conversation with teachers, mentors and medical workers in Karshi.

On October 30 and November 6, videoconference sessions were held on improving the education and upbringing system and radically transforming the primary healthcare system, respectively. The President also signed a decree and resolution in these areas.

At today's meeting, participants discussed the importance of reforms in education and medicine, their implementation at places.

“We cannot be a competitive country without the development of these two areas. The future is being built by a healthy nation, an educated generation”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed.

It should be noted that both the state of schools and the quality of medical services in Kashkadarya are at an unsatisfactory level. There are many problems. Parents are dissatisfied with the education system. Therefore, the reforms initiated in these areas are particularly in demand for the region.

The Head of the state told the audience about how he sees the results of the new system of work, contribution of teachers and doctors to this work. He listened to the opinions of school principals, teachers and health workers, and supported their proposals.

“Solving problems in education, as well as in medicine, is like digging a well with a needle, which does not yield the result immediately. To do this, you need to work with high dedication. The outcome of initiated reforms and satisfaction of people depend on this. I rely on you on this path”, the President said.
