Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits Central Multidisciplinary Clinic

The Head of the state visited the Central Multidisciplinary Clinic in Tashkent’s Shaykhantakhur district.

The medical facility was built in 1994 and renovated in 2017. Departments of therapy, neurology, cardiology, rheumatology, allergology, pediatrics and surgery are operating here.

The central polyclinic and 9 family polyclinics in its structure serve 346 thousand people living in 51 mahallas of the district.

The President instructed to create a medical cluster based on these polyclinics.

“Private medicine will develop. It is the requirement of the time. A certain part of the population uses private clinics’ services. However, the state must provide the entire population with quality medicine. Therefore, it is necessary to turn this place into a cluster, establish targeted treatment, to increase efficiency and coverage. People should feel that everything is fair in medicine”, the Head of the state said.

Responsible persons were given appropriate instructions.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited Olim Khujayev mahalla in the Shaykhantakhur district. It is planned to renovate two-storey houses built in the 60s of the last century.
