Leaders of Uzbekistan and South Korea will hold an Online Summit

In accordance with the previously reached agreements at the highest level, on 28 January a meeting will be held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, via videoconference.

The agenda of the talks include the acute issues of developing cooperation of special strategic partnership, as well as regional interaction and cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.

The Leaders of Uzbekistan and Korea will analyze the modern state and discuss the prospects for deepening the political dialogue, implementing specific projects and programs in trade, investments, innovation, industry and energy, agriculture, healthcare, education, and cultural exchange.

The schedule of the forthcoming contacts and joint events will also be considered.

Following the summit, it is expected to sign a whole range of documents envisaging the advancement of the new initiatives in digital technologies, project activities, healthcare, and other important directions.
