President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Hero of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Hasan Normurodov, who is being treated at Samarkand Branch of the Republican Emergency Care Research Center.

Mr. Hasan Normurodov is a selfless participant in social activities. He worked in the public education system for many years. Later, being the Chairman of Samarkand Regional Branch of the Nuroniy Fund, he made a significant contribution to the social protection of veterans. He is currently working as the Deputy Head of Samarkand Regional Department for Supporting the Mahalla and Family.

People of the region respect Mr. Hasan Normurodov, who is 82 years old, as a kind-hearted person and an active member of the veteran community. In 2019, by the Decree of the President, he was awarded the Hero of Uzbekistan title.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished the veteran of labor a speedy recovery, good spirits and long life.

Mr. Hasan Normurodov thanked the Head of the state for his attention and support.

Thereupon, the President’s visit to Samarkand region has ended.
