
On November 17 of this year, during the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan, in the presence of the heads of the two states, a Memorandum on the establishment of an Uzbek-Turkmen expert council was exchanged between the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Council aims to ensure the development of broad scientific and expert dialogue and cooperation between the two countries through regular interaction between expert communities, joint research, exchange of analytical materials, and the organization of events.
Within this mechanism, special attention will be paid to the coordination of bilateral projects, the preparation of agreed work plans, and the involvement of relevant specialists and partners for the effective implementation of joint initiatives.
