The ISRS held a meeting with the Henrietta Kiefer, the Head of the representative office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Tashkent. During the conversation, two sides discussed the results of cooperation within the framework of bilateral partnership between the parties and prospects for further deepening of cooperation.
The guest emphasized that at present there is a noticeable intensification of contacts between the Institute and the Foundation in terms of implementation of new projects and programs, including those, aimed at the development of regional cooperation in Central Asia. In this regard, according to the parties, the joint round tables held in March and September 2018 served as important events to discuss new opportunities for further strengthening of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
H. Kiefer expressed readiness of the representative office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation to continue active cooperation with ISRS. In this context, the parties discussed the joint activities, planned for 2019, as well as the possibility of giving them content that is even more practical.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to continue contributing to deepening and expansion of Uzbek-German relations.
