On October 4 this year, as part of a research trip to Turkiye, delegation of experts from the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS), headed by First Deputy Director Akramjon Nematov met with representatives of the leading think tank, the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA).
During the conversation, Turkiye's foreign policy priorities, including in Central Asia, were discussed. Special attention was also paid to the further development of cooperation between the analytical structures of the two countries.
SETA is a non-profit Turkish think tank founded in 2006. Based in Ankara, it has offices in Istanbul, Washington, Brussels and Berlin.
In 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ISRS and SETA. The document provides for the establishment of cooperation and regular working contacts through joint research projects on issues of mutual interest.
