
On November 25, Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) hosted a meeting between First Deputy Director of the Institute Akramjon Nematov and Head of the Asia/Pacific Department of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Christian Echle.
The meeting was also attended by Andre Algermissen, Head of the Central Asia Regional Program at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and Ashraf Alikulov, Project Coordinator for Central Asia at the Foundation.
The German delegation was briefed in detail on the results of the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held in Tashkent in November of this year, as well as on the essence and significance of the initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The guests particularly noted the high level of consolidation of the countries of the region and the productive nature of Uzbekistan's chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia. In particular, the importance of Tashkent's proposals for further institutional strengthening of the regional cooperation architecture was emphasized, and Germany expressed its willingness to support their implementation, including through joint projects and expert exchanges.
Furthermore, prospects for further expansion of cooperation between the ISRS and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation were discussed, and plans were outlined for joint events aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and developing proposals for priority areas of collaboration.

On November 20-21, the 11th international scientific and practical conference of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS SCO) was held in Tashkent. The conference was titled: "Preventing the Spread of Terrorism, Separatism, and Extremism: Eliminating Root Causes."
