ISRS hosted a meeting with the vice president of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China

On September 25, the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) hosted a meeting between the Institute's Director Eldor Aripov and a delegation from the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPS CPC), led by Vice President Li Yi.

An open and constructive exchange of views took place on topical issues of bilateral cooperation. The participants in the meeting noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between research institutions in both countries.

During the talks, Li Yi provided detailed information about the history, activities, and objectives of the CPS CPC. Founded in 1933, the school is the leading educational institution for training personnel for the Communist Party of China. Over its nearly century-long history, it has become a breeding ground for talented leaders, including Mao Zedong, Hua Guofeng, Hu Jintao, and Xi Jinping. It was particularly noted that Xi Jinping headed the school from 2007 to 2013 and has repeatedly given lectures there as head of state.

The CPS CPC actively cooperates with government agencies, research centers, universities, and other institutions in more than 30 countries around the world. It regularly holds seminars for CPC leaders at all levels and implements training programs for party committees.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to establish effective, systematic expert collaboration. In this regard, they noted the importance of signing a Memorandum of Understanding, which will enable the implementation of the agreements reached, including the organization of joint events, scientific research, and publications.
