President of Uzbekistan to visit Kazakhstan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on December 5-6 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In accordance with the program of the visit, meetings and talks at the highest level will be held in Nur-Sultan. Ways to further strengthen the friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries will be considered.

The agenda includes current issues of deepening political dialogue, enhancing trade-economic cooperation, primarily practical interaction and promotion of specific cooperation projects in various sectors of the economy, as well as the intensification of cultural-humanitarian exchange programs.

The Leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will exchange views on international issues and discuss the main directions of regional integration.

Following the summit, it is planned to sign a solid package of bilateral documents.

On the eve of the visit, Nur-Sultan will host a business forum with the participation of leading companies and entrepreneurs of the two countries.
