ISRS and KazISS signed a Memorandum on the establishment of the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan Expert Council

On August 8, within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan, a Memorandum on the establishment of the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan Expert Council was signed between the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the presence of the Heads of the two states, the document was signed by the director of ISRS Eldor Aripov and the head of KazISS Erkin Tukumov.

The Council is called upon to give a regular and substantive character to the expert dialogue between the countries by involving relevant experts and specialists to discuss new ideas and develop proposals for further expansion of comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of this mechanism, special attention will be paid to the analysis of the current state and the development of the existing potential of the two countries in the trade, economic, industrial, technological and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
