During the conversation, the participants exchanged views on key aspects of the socio-political and socio-economic reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, and also discussed the prospects for the further development of Uzbek-Polish cooperation.

Representatives of the Polish think tank praised the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in recent years, especially in the area of trade and economic relations. According to their estimates, the volume of trade turnover between the countries more than doubled from 163 to 382 million dollars between 2019 and 2024.

In addition, about 40 enterprises with Polish capital are successfully operating in Uzbekistan, which indicates mutual interest and trust between the two countries. The head of the OSW Wojciech Konończuk acknowledged that Polish investors are showing increasing interest in Uzbekistan, highly appreciating its economic prospects and favorable investment climate.

In addition to the successes achieved, the parties also noted new promising areas of cooperation. It was emphasized that cooperation in such areas as personnel training, industrial cooperation, transport communications and education could become an additional driver of bilateral partnership.

In addition, the participants discussed issues of strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia and the role of Uzbekistan in these processes. Particular attention was paid to the upcoming EU-CA summit. Given that Poland is presiding over the EU Council this year, Polish experts expressed confidence that the summit results will lay the foundation for developing an updated Brussels strategy in the region.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening partnerships between the analytical centers of Uzbekistan and Poland, which will facilitate the exchange of experience and strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
