The guests became familiar with the Amir Temur Mausoleum, where they were informed about the history of statehood and the activities of the great ruler and the Temurids.
They then enjoyed the majestic view of the magnificent monuments on Registan Square, including Mirzo Ulugbek, Sherdor, and Tillakori madrasahs, and became acquainted with the historical objects and handicraft products.
The Nizami Ganjavi International Center was established in 2012. His activities are primarily aimed at bringing together representatives of different nationalities, religions, and cultures, and developing a global dialogue. The Center organizes scientific-practical conferences, forums, and workshops in politics, education, science, and culture. The headquarters is located in Baku, Azerbaijan.
During the high-level meeting held by the center in cooperation with the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies and the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the participants exchanged views on global climate change, water resources, energy security, and sustainable agriculture.
