President of Uzbekistan discusses strategic directions of partnership with UAE Deputy Prime Minister
On December 2, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The President of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the Emirati side on the national holiday – the 50th anniversary of the founding of the state, sincerely wishing well-being and prosperity to the friendly people of the UAE.
Issues of the development of strategic directions of full-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and UAE were considered.
The main attention was paid to the implementation of joint innovative projects and programs of financial-technical assistance, including taking into account the potential of the two countries, vividly demonstrated at the World EXPO in Dubai.
An agreement was reached to hold bilateral meetings of government delegations in the near future to form a new portfolio of promising projects.
