The President of Turkey sincerely congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his victory in the Presidential elections, emphasizing that the results of the vote once again showed the broad support of the country's population for the ongoing course of reforms in New Uzbekistan.

In turn, the Leader of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the President and the entire people of Turkey on the upcoming main national holiday – Republic Day, wishing peace and prosperity.

Issues of preparation for the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council at the highest level and the Turkic Council Summit were considered.

The importance of continuing joint efforts to further increase mutual trade, expand the portfolio of major investment projects and implement important educational programs was emphasized.
