The SCO is at the forefront of information security
This was stated by SCO Deputy Secretary-General Grigory Logvinov, addressing the SCO Scientific and Expert Forum on Information Security, held on September 6 in Tashkent.
According to him, the SCO is leading international efforts to develop universal, legally binding norms of responsible behavior of states in the information space, preventing the use of information-communication technologies for illegal purposes.
It should be noted that the scientific-expert forum is held as part of the practical implementation of the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, put forward at the Dushanbe SCO Summit on September 17, 2021.
