On May 29 of this year, within the framework of the foresight seminar “Central Asia – 2050: Paving the Way to Joint Prosperity and Stability”, the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ASR) and the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) organized a training seminar for specialists from analytical and research institutions.
During the event, participants were introduced to modern methods of analysis and forecasting used in the study of global and regional processes. Particular attention was paid to scenario analysis, the possibilities of its use in conducting research work and preparing information and analytical materials.
The seminar was moderated by the Coordinator of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), Dr. Aida Karazhanova.
Following the event, the participants expressed confidence that further exchange of experience and knowledge will contribute to improving the quality of analytical work and developing the scientific and methodological potential of research institutions.
