ISRS and the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
On November 12, 2024, as part of the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation to Switzerland, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) and the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).
The document was signed by ISRS Director Eldor Aripov and GCERF Executive Director Khalid Koser.
The signed Memorandum lays the legal basis for the implementation of cooperation programs in countering extremism and terrorism, providing assistance to repatriated citizens in their rehabilitation and reintegration.
Particular attention will be paid to finding solutions in combating online propaganda of terrorism and extremism, developing critical thinking among young people.
