The Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Sangmin Lee – senior research fellow of the Korea transport institute (KOTI) and Junseog Ko – Business and Strategy office Director in Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND).

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in the field of transport, logistics and urban infrastructure development.

As Korean experts stated, taken into consideration the strategic level of Uzbek-Korean relations, as well as new opportunities in Uzbekistan KOTI and KIND are planning to implement a number of projects to improve the infrastructure and promote the economic development of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the conversation, the Korean side also expressed interest in expanding cooperation with the ISRS, through joint research activities.
