On January 16, at ISRS a meeting was held with K.Sadykov, Counselor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, parties discussed the current state and prospects of development of Uzbek-Kyrgyz cooperation. According to the Kyrgyz diplomat, currently we are observing a breakthrough in all areas of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
In particular, cooperation is actively expanding and deepening in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
K. Sadykov emphasized that the initiatives of Uzbekistan made a positive effect on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation among the countries of Central Asia. It was also stressed that joint projects planned for implementation in such areas as transport and logistics, water and energy, trade and economic, tourism those will contribute to strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in deepening the ties between the expert-analytical and scientific-academic circles of two countries, conducting joint research and activities of mutual interest.
