On September 6 this year, a meeting was held at ISRS between the Institute director Eldor Aripov and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan Manfred Huterer.
Taking the opportunity, the head of ISRS congratulated the distinguished guest on the start of his activity as Ambassador of Germany to our country.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues related to the development of Uzbek-German practical cooperation, as well as multilateral interaction in the Central Asia-Germany format.
In recent years, relations between the two countries have been developing dynamically and have a multifaceted character. According to Mr. Huterer, "cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan is at its peak. Undoubtedly, this has become possible thanks to the intensive and trustful political dialog at the highest level".
Special attention was paid to Tashkent's regional policy aimed at strengthening friendship and mutual trust in the region. "The enormous changes taking place in Central Asia are primarily the merit of Uzbekistan's leader," the diplomat said.
The interlocutors also noted with satisfaction the high level of interaction between the analytical structures of Uzbekistan and Germany, which contributes to the development of new ideas and proposals to strengthen Uzbek-German relations.
At the end of the meeting, readiness was expressed to continue a productive dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
