On March 6 this year, a meeting was held between the Deputy Director of ISRS Bakhtiyor Mustafayev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh to the Republic of Uzbekistan Mohammad Monirul Islam.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Bangladesh relations, and also discussed current issues on the regional and international agenda.
Taking the opportunity, Bakhtiyor Mustafayev congratulated the high-ranking diplomat on the upcoming Independence Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, which is celebrated on March 26, and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
