Intensive contacts and exchanges continue, the volumes of mutual trade are steadily growing, important cooperation projects are being implemented in mechanical engineering, energy, electrical engineering, mining, agriculture and other spheres.

The partnership is enhancing at the regional and business levels.

Cultural and humanitarian ties have intensified. Last week, the Tajik Cinema Days were held within the framework of Tashkent Film Festival. The preparation of cooperation projects in arts, health and education continues.

The leaders noted the importance of full-scale implementation of the agreements adopted, instructed to continue close interaction and coordination within the framework of the activities of the joint intergovernmental commission.

During the conversation, views were exchanged on the current international and regional agenda, including the emerging situation in neighboring Afghanistan.
