INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

International activity

Within the framework of international relations, ISRS established contacts and develops cooperation with a number of international organizations, foundations, analytical and research centers of foreign countries, including those of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, the Republic of Belarus, the USA, Tajikistan, Turkey, France, South Korea and Japan.

ISRS’s international activity in 2017

In 2017 ISRS established partnerships with the following foreign research centers:

  • Chinese Academy of Contemporary International Relations;
  • Shanghai International Studies University;
  • Royal United Services Institute;
  • Friedrich Ebert Foundation;
  • Konrad Adenauer Foundation;
  • European Institute for Caucasian and Caspian Studies;
  • Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey
  • Russian Institute for Strategic Studies;
  • National Institute for Strategic Studies of the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Center for Global and Strategic Studies, Islamabad;
  • Vivekananda International Foundation;
  • Jeju Peace Institute

In 2017, ISRS organized 76 meetings with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions and representations of international organizations accredited in Uzbekistan, experts from the leading think tanks of 27 countries: Afghanistan, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Israel, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, USA, Turkey, France, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan.

ISRS representatives took part in more than 30 international conferences, seminars, roundtables and briefings in more than 15 foreign countries of the world.
