The Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the delegation headed by Ambassador Sujan R. Chinoy, Director General of the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses of India. During the meeting, two sides discussed socio-economic and socio-political reforms in the country and prospects for cooperation between the Uzbekistan and Romania.
According to Indian delegation, the efforts of the Government of Uzbekistan, aimed at implementing internal reforms and building mutually beneficial relations with partner countries significantly improved the image of Uzbekistan in the international arena. New dynamics in Indian vector of foreign policy of Tashkent created favorable conditions for expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and India in all spheres.
Members of delegation noted India’s interest in expanding cooperation with leading research centers of Uzbekistan.
