ISRS hosted a meeting with Vice President of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)

On June 2, 2025, a meeting took place between Akramjon Nematov, First Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS), and Daniel Runde, Senior Vice President and Head of the Global Analysis Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS, USA).

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for the development of Uzbek-American cooperation, as well as the expansion of expert dialogue between think tanks of the two countries.

The participants agreed to continue bilateral partnership and expressed mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation between ISRS and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

CSIS is a U.S.-based think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. It was founded in 1962 at Georgetown University. The Center conducts research on policy and security issues, international relations, trade, technology, finance, energy, and geostrategy.
