On May 31 of this year at the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the Australian delegation led by Australia’s Special Representative on Afghanistan Lucienne Manton, and as part of the deputy ambassador of this country to Uzbekistan with residence in Moscow, Jeremy Guthrie.

During the talks there was a thorough exchange of views on the development of the situation in and around Afghanistan, as well as the approaches of the parties on the Afghan track.

At the end of the conversation, an agreement was reached to maintain regular contacts on issues of mutual interest.
