ISRS hosted a meeting with representatives of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

On March 17 this year, at the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held between the Director of ISRS and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ms. Aurelia Bouchez, as well as the Senior Secretary of the Centre for Analysis, Planning and Strategy  of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Ms. Marie Paret.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of regional cooperation and security in Central Asia, the role of France and the European Council in the region, and the development of transport and energy corridors.

The meeting participants agreed to continue bilateral cooperation and expressed mutual interest in further expanding and strengthening the interaction between ISRS and the Centre for Analysis, Planning and Strategy.
